Cocklebarrow Farm, tucked away in a secluded corner of the Cotswold countryside is the home of, not only to the now famous Cocklebarrow Races but a selection of 18th Century stone farm buildings. 

Cocklebarrow is still very much a working farm however the stone buildings needed urgent attention. Fast forward to March 2020, the country was in the grip of a pandemic and placed into full lockdown. With restrictions eventually easing for the construction industry, a team of artisan builders ‘moved in’ to the yard and started carefully restoring the main fabric of the barns. Utilising traditional building methods and materials that the Georgian masons and carpenters worked with, the barns  

literally ‘came back to life’. 

As you enter the main stone threshing barns, the space inside can only be described as that of a cathedral easily accommodating 200 plus people. These can be hired for various functions and parties, a live music event or, dare we say it.. a perfect wedding reception! The space includes the front courtyard and cattle barns with plenty of parking in the front field and some hard standing parking to the rear of the barns themselves.
